Fonu | Turtle Silicone Teether

In some cultures, turtles are considered creatures of longevity, perseverance, protection, retreat, healing and tranquility.

We love to associate our products with some of our cultures and beliefs. 

We have named this soft silicone teether Fonu which in Niuean means Turtle.

This teether is super soft, but sturdy for sore little gums to chomp on!
All 4 legs and the shell are ribbed for great texture. 
It has gaps all around for little fingers to grab onto and pull up to their mouths. 
Great for hand eye coordination skills!

What is Silicone? Why is it better? 
Silicone is a polymer made from silica (sand). 
Silicone is more durable, flexible and stable. Can last decades and go through lots of little hands! It's hypoallergenic, odour free and stain resistant. Non toxic - BPA free and doesn't peel or rot. Also has the possibility of being recycled (check with your local centre!).
